Fingers Don't Fail Me Now was Miller's last LP for Kicking
Mule Records and his only one of all original guitar solos. It included an order form for a book of transcriptions. In
the mid-1990s Mel
Bay Publications released them together as book/CD combo which is now out of print. CD-R copies of the LP are available from this site for $8 + P & H ($2 in the USA,
$5 elsewhere). You can also buy the CD-R along with transcriptions of all the tunes for $17.95 + P & H ($3 in the USA, $7 elsewhere) Click BUY to order.
A few cuts from this LP are included
on the CD Guitarist/Composer
Sampler. John Calvin of Moonset recorded Butano Lullaby on the CD Wherever We Sing and Teja Gerken recorded Noe Valley Sunday on his CD Postcards. Singer / songwriter William McLane added musical accompaniment to a tongue-in-cheek Miller essay in the book. McLane has recorded it on his CD Across the Double Yellow Line.
